Open the Start menu select Run and type msconfig, go to the services tab. It is a service that automatically run at startup windows. There are some services that are not necessary and should be turned off, namely:

1. Automatic Live Update Scheduler. This service if you do not want automatic windows updates, or your computer is not connected to the Internet at all.

2.Error Reporting Service. If you ever see a window whose content "error occurred ...." There continues to send or do not send option. That's the order of this service. We usually choose do not send, so this service should be turned off.

3.Live Update, the same as the Automatic Live Update Scheduler.

4.Automatic Updates, the same as the Automatic Live Update Scheduler.

5.Remote Help Desktop Manager. Used to help you if you experience difficulties or errors in windows, you can ask your friends to access your computer remotely (Internet). If you never wear it, this service should be turned off.

6.Remote Registry. To access the registry (windows settings files) from a distance. Should be turned off.

7.Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). This is only used if the computer you are using UPS, which is a useful tool for storing electrical energy when the power goes out. Turn off this service if you do not use UPS.

8.Even Log.Windows record all logs of what happens in windows. If you never use the event log (in the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools), then this service may be turned off.

9.Windows Audio. May be turned off if your computer without a sound card.
