Maximize the Speed of the Modem

• Go to Control Panel> Network Connections. Then right click on the modem connection icon >> select Properties, as shown below.

• In the Properties window, click the Configure button, then the Modem Configuration window will appear as below.

 * Note the picture above. To increase the speed of the modem, on the "Maximum speed (bps)" change in value over the original value of your modem. For example for modem to 153Kbps data transfer capabilities (such as the use ane) venom original value of 115200, so it can be increased to 230 400. Or if agan feel confident you can get even more value to a high of 921 600 as shown above, but also the risk that your own risk, because the same force the modem to work hard. Incidentally, I also did the same thing, because it was ready to bear the risk and has not happened in the modem, the modem may include a great product.

 

* Still related to the picture above, to control the flow of data and error in the modem, check the "Enable hardware flow control" and "Enable modem error control". Then finish with the click OK to apply the configuration.
