All About Cockroach

1. Cockroaches are generally rarely fly
as if flying, their bodies will be hot but there are some cockroaches who loved to fly that normally live in Central and South America.

2. Cockroaches cause of global warming
Studies show that cockroach fart average every 15 minutes. Even after death, they will still release methane up to 18 hours. On a global scale, insect flatulence is estimated to account for 20% of all methane emissions. This puts the cockroach as one of the biggest contributors to global warming. Other major contributors are termites and cows.

3. Will Dead If supine
Cockroaches can die because they could not right itself after falling. Without the ability to control his muscles, cockroaches can die in a state of supine.

4. Not headed
Cockroaches did not require the head to be able to survhve. For comparison, the function of the human head:
* Breathe through your nose and mouth, and breathing are controlled by the brain;
* Loss of head causing blood loss drastically; and
* We eat by mouth.

But for cockroaches:
* They breathe through a ventilator in the whole body and brain do not control these functions;
* Insects have no such blood pressure in mammals and will not 'bleed out'; and
* As a cold-blooded animals, food that few can survive a whole month. Headless cockroach can survive long enough even to 9 days.

5. Cockroaches can cause asthma
Cockroach allergy was first reported about 50 years ago, and very dangerous. Droppings and cockroach allergens are fragments of cockroach carcasses into dust and into the bronchial tubes. Sensitivity to this dust triggers the bronchial allergic reaction known as asthma.

6. Super-fast growth
The female can produce 6-8 eggs place for 6 months of life, which makes 180-320 new cockroach. If only 10 children into fertile females (and it is the approximate size - the number could be more than 100), there are thousands of cockroaches tail within a few months.

7. They are very fast runners!
Research shows that the American cockroach fastest speed recorded close to 2 miles per hour (75 cm per second). For body size that much, it is already considered very fast.

8. Cockroaches can survive even though it was bombed with atomic bombs
There is a states that cockroach that can survive in a nuclear bomb attack. Has not been proven scientifically, but there are some logical proof. Living cells are sensitive to radiation, especially when they are dividing (hence the effectiveness of radiation on cancer cells). Cockroach cells divide only during molting cycle, about once a week. So they are sensitive to radiation is only about 48 hours, or 1 / 4 weeks. Human beings have blood and stem-cell immine that divide constantly. With radiation nuclear bombs, all humans will die, but only 1 / 4 of the cockroaches will survive. Interestingly, Mythbusters did a test and found a cockroach can live on 10x the intensity of radiation needed to kill humans.

And the last

9. A cockroach can survive without food for 9 days, before the cockroach, die of hunger
